1. Power and Attitude –

Trev Leon grew up in the shattered remains of the once proud United States. Navigating the treacherous desert landscape with his best friend and co-driver Jack and an alluring tourist harboring secrets of her own, Trev realizes that winning the race is no longer his only concern. The event requires him to go fast, fight monsters, and keep the tourist safe, but he’s not so sure she cares all that much about whether he survives.

With money flowing in and villains going down by the week, Trev, Cassie and Jack are building up a major reputation as bounty hunters and rookie heroes. They’re ready to make the official shift to hero work as soon as they can convince the local police and military they’re not out of control blood-thirsty bounty hunters only pretending to care about justice.
The careful villain avoids drawing attention to himself…
Trev is more concerned with improving control of his power and taking down bounties than worrying about small fry. When a local street gang decides they’re going to move into his part of town, he decides to educate them about how living a law-abiding life is far less painful, especially when being a criminal means going up against Trev and his friends.
The brighter the light, the darker the shadow.
A simple altercation blossoms into a confrontation with a far more dangerous enemy force who has seized control of half the city. Trev and the team are going to have to improve both their powers and their urban warfare tactics if they want to save their city from a dark conspiracy.

There’s only one problem. They’ve become so good at taking down local villains they’re running out of bad guys to stomp.
A trip to the north ensnares them in a deadly and unexpected spiderweb…
Deciding to cast a wider net, the newly expanded team learns of a mysterious underworld hunt in Phoenix for the most unlikely of targets, an archaeologist’s young assistant. The hunters become the hunted as Trev and the team decide to investigate, while conveniently taking down any bounties and villains who happen to get in their way.
Cassie’s prophecies can only do so much to prepare the team for the shocking truth.
What started as a standard bounty and villain hunt pushes the team into a confrontation with a powerful enemy who will stop at nothing to keep his deep secrets buried. Trev believes in the Hero Prophecy, yet that doesn’t mean he’s ready to accept the unbelievable truth about his greatest enemy. Everything they think they understand about their world will change.
