1. Unfair – Lyla Cowan just lost her command.
And it’s not her fault!
Now she’s cast adrift with a bunch of misfits.
Being a senior fighter pilot was her achieved ambition, short lived as it turned out to be.
So what sort of life purpose is there without that for someone like her?
There are options, but how survivable are they without the latest tech she’s relied on for so long?
The future looks bleak, and the chip on her shoulder is huge.
And for right now, everything is just Unfair.

2. Unwary – Lyla Cowan still isn’t sure she’s doing what she should be.
Democratic Union and Naranja space proved to be hostile, but they finally convinced her to upgrade.
So where next for her fledgling mercenary misfits?
They’ve been invited to Karn, but is the League of Worlds’ space too tame?
But adjacent to Karn is the third of the core belonging to the kangaroo like Ralnor.
No-one knows anything about what goes on there, except the Ralnor value law and order above all.
But where the Keerah impose military order, the Ralnor are supposed to enforce laws.
Exactly what the difference is, no-one knows.
The question is, is Ralnor space a good place for the Unwary to go?

3. Unruly – Lyla Cowan is finally feeling good about where she is.
But what she is remains a yet to be answered question.
Ralnor space is proving to be just as lucrative as DU space was.
And just as dangerous.
The Ralnor don’t like the Unruly, and they act like it’s not a problem.
But Lyla can now see the cracks in the façade.
But are things actually much worse than anyone will admit?
Now she has a full service mercenary company at her back.
Now she can face whatever comes at her with confidence.
But Unruly is, as Unruly does.

4. Unseen – Lyla Cowan has just had a shock, but to everyone else it was inevitable.
Her life is a roller coaster ride these days, but it feels like home to her now.
As Halloween grips Haven Station, she’s thinking about the next mission.
Out on the edge of the galaxy is a small cluster where people just want to be left alone.
But that’s not happening anymore.
And no-one knows what’s going on.
One couple do, but they can’t do anything on their own.
They need someone who will step up and help.
But who’s going to help the Unseen?

5. Unkind – Lyla Cowan has given up fighting the changes in her life.
The Unbound Mercenary Company is expanding ahead of schedule, and she’s just rolling with it now.
They’ve made a name for themselves fighting pirates.
But there are always more pirates.
The human spine is on the way back to Ralnor space, if you take a dogleg.
And with the lower end opening up for new colonization at long last, the piracy problem there needs a solution.
What do you do with the unkind element making lives harder?
You get Lyla interested.
When Unkind is as Unkind does, you need the Unbound.

6. Uneven – Lyla Cowan has finally embraced who she was meant to be.
A lone wolf leading a pack of lone wolves presenting as a mercenary company.
It doesn’t matter where she goes across two galaxies, someone makes trouble for people she calls friends.
But when your own and theirs are threatened, wolves don’t stand down.
Lyla doesn’t like picking fights, but she never backs away from them when they start.
What matters is how you fight with what you have.
And every fight is somehow Uneven.

7. Unwind – Lyla Cowan feels like she’s been telling truth to stupid.
But is anyone listening to her?
And does it matter if they do or don’t?
Events seem to be in motion which cannot be stopped now.
And Lyla always seems to be right in the middle of them.
Because the Unbound Mercs will respond to whatever starts to Unwind.

8. Unreal – Lyla Cowan is starting to wonder what could possibly make her life more complicated.
The Ralnor situation isn’t getting any better.
The Sector Nine Badlands are still a problem.
The Terran coup is still an issue.
And now she has other responsibilities thrust on her she never wanted, but has to admit, she can handle.
Life as a League of Worlds pilot was simple.
Life heading up the largest mercenary company in human space is simply Unreal.

9. Undone – Lyla Cowan never understood what happened.
One moment she was leading a squadron, the next she was waking up in a care unit with people angry at her.
It set her on a path to what she has become, and what she now has.
She was undone, and then came back from that. Or at least, everyone thinks so.
Things seem to be getting even more chaotic, but it keeps her occupied.
And dare she admit it, happy.
But at the back of her mind is always the niggling doubt.
Doubts about herself, and how she was undone once, without knowing why, or if it could happen again.
Is the reason she can’t accept being who everyone else thinks she is, a fear of again being Undone?

10. Untied – Lyla Cowan knows that the ties that bind the most are the ones you put on yourself.
But when you get them untied, there are still the ones others put on you.
Freedom from your own ties, though, can be a powerful thing.
And being free of them gives you a different perspective on what else is going on.
The Terran situation is still unresolved.
The Ralnor situation might be even worse than she thought.
And now she has to deal with being politically part of the Imperium and League of Worlds.
All while dealing with the chaos her new system has brought her.
Can she now rise to the challenge of being Untied?

11. Unbend – Lyla Cowan is no stranger to events that bend out of control.
The Cosmos keeps asking her to step up, and up, and up again.
But each time she does, she finds something else which is bent out of shape.
She was once asked to consider the line between mercenary and militia.
Now she’s walking that line, and guess what?
It’s still bent.
Something is really wrong in the Sector Nine Badlands.
The Ralnor situation never seems to end.
And now the Terrans are the ones needing help.
It’s all in a day’s work for those who do the Unbend.

12. Undead – Lyla Cowan is still fighting the good fight.
Because a mercenary’s work is never done.
She’s been the victim of lies, and has come back from that.
She’s taken a stand against bullies, and holds firm to that.
But what if the line between truth and lies, bully and victim, is blurred by reality and myth?
Would you take up the cause of the Undead?
