Feature of Sparrow Kmax
Kmax version 11.x is the latest release of the Kmax family of data acquisition and data analysis application software. It updates the Kmax environment to be compatible with the latest releases of the Windows, MacOS and Linux operating systems.
Kmax 11.x updates the Kmax application to be compatible with the latest releases of 64-bit Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems. It adds many new features, reimplements 3D histogram views, updates the developer examples, updates the CAMAC and VME driver extensions and the toolsheet examples.
Kmax 11.17 (and above) comes with the Java JDK, JavaFX SDK already as a part of the app package. Version 11.17 marked a complete rewrite of the Kmax GUI, removing most of the Swing classes and adopting the JavaFX libraries.
